Two different men, two different perspectives on why they’re walking every last block of New York City. Helmreich, a sociological researcher, Green an engineer who gave up his home and job to embark on uncovering the differences and similarities of an infinitely unknowable city. Both confide stereotypes disintegrate with each of their successive steps. Helmreich uses a map to guide him, while Green relies on GPS; yet the emerging result is the same: recognition of a deep love for the heart and pulse of their rich and diverse city.
