This is a portent of the might of an Andalucían summer just ten miles distant from African shores.
As if to mirror this, those plants with the most solar of characters, the composites, began to flower this morning.
Their ray like florets open up to our star, a poetic aubade to Helios in all of his glory.
Beneath me, the mountain stretches, cat like, to receive this bountiful warmth.
