Okay, Good Men: let’s talk about America.
We just saw two distinct political conventions with opposite-end-spectrum beliefs about the future of our nation.
We need to talk about the vision of society and America we want and need.
So let’s get to it.
From the local level to the presidential, we’re constantly building society—it’s not a top-down build, but a center-out build from where you stand and live.
Are there only two options for America? There must be more!
Let’s talk about it and have the “conversation no one else is having” about men, masculinity, America, and you.
Start down below in the comments and if you feel so moved, write something and submit it to our editors.
It’s all on you.
That’s right, you.
Read you down below.

The “1950s” version of America is imperfect, but better than the current one. The last 60 years have been an exercise in social regression, only deemed positive by those who value equality. Those people, however, are wrong.
I like the 1950s when it came to America having good paying jobs, strong unions, strong government regulations, a strong industrial, manufacturing base and free/affordable education. On the other hand, I would not like the negative side of the 1950s where there was blatant sexism, racism, and a belief that anything like free/affordable medical smacks of communism.
I’m not in favour of Trump, who’s a blowhard windbag, but we have a proven danger to the world as an option, and most Americans don’t see what’s happening beyond their borders. Instead they get misdirection and distraction in the media, same as a magician employs to succeed at his illusions. Time to wake up and look behind the mirror… Read this article by a well respected international journalist: http://johnpilger.com/articles/silencing-america-as-it-prepares-for-war This is a man who stands up for the victims of war, genocide, and oppressed minorities world-wide. The two biggest concerns for me right now as a 40-something father of three (the oldest starts HS in the fall) are college costs and health care costs. The costs of those two fundamental things are growing so rapidly and it is not sustainable. Figuring out how to reduce violence across the board would probably be the third thing that concerns me. I don’t think the country is ready for it, but I also have no issue with the decriminalization of all recreational drugs. Just make them like alcohol, make it 21 and up, and tax the heck out of… Read more »
Discussions here are futile in that the overwhelming number of articles are against Trump. Discussion = slam those who respond in favor of Trump OR when they discredit what’s being stated in articles. Not uncommon to see “source?” when questioning the content of an article.
“Are there only two options for America? There must be more!” At the moment, there isn’t any other options. So this is no more then a rhetorical question.
Identifying Trump as being the “throw back” says the discussion stage is set against anyone who remotely speaks in favor of Trump.
And the discussion stage was set against President Obama when he was elected twice and all the racist people came out of the wood work back up by the Republican party and the corporate controlled media whether he did something right, something wrong, took action or took no action.
