Being a Modern Dad may mean different things to different people, but in this video, Jason goes over 7 things he believes define a modern dad.
Whether it’s being an involved father, a 50/50 partnership with their spouse, or the desire to leave a legacy, a modern dad is important. It shows the growth fathers have made over the years and improvements from previous generations. Sure our fathers of the past were great, but dads have evolved.
Modern dads are now more present with their kids and understand the importance of work/life harmony. A big part of this shift is because of millennial dads. The millennial fathers of today are being more involved from the time their babies are being born.
Jason does explain this video is from an American perspective but asks those outside of America to share what makes a Modern Dad in their culture. Leave your feedback in the comments section.

Hey Jason, really enjoyed this as I recently posted an article on Medium about what it takes to be a Modern Dad! The areas you mentioned I can get behind 100% and that’s a Dad from Ireland! To expand it further based on my own experiences I would suggest Safety, as the World can present concerns that worry most parents.
