He was at a conference, thousands of miles away from his wife. She was gorgeous, and they could easily sneak off to his hotel room. What would you do?

Have you ever experienced the feeling of time stopping or slowing down?
We all seen it in movies. The slow-mo effect is used in movies often to show how a character just barely survives or performs a miraculous feat. The Matrix made it’s slow-mo mark with it’s bullet-time fighting sequences.
Time slowed down when a woman (other than my wife) asked to sleep with me.
I was at a conference (called Podcast Movement) and stayed up too late with friends. I was mingling in a bar with a few friends. Then, I ran into a woman who was very interested in my company. That’s when time slowed down for me…
I share in this episode of my 66 Day Experiment:
- My gut reaction to the request (I’m not proud of this).
- How I responded (and what guilty thoughts I had immediately and after).
- What qualities are necessary for defeat decisions that could destroy us.
Have you ever been in a situation like this?

She was a hooker. The next, intermediate step, would have been negotiation.
This is pathetic. Why stay in a marriage or ever think of getting married if something like this is such a huge struggle … if validation from a not-so-credible stranger is such a deep need in one’s life!
“He was at a conference, thousands of miles away from his wife. She was gorgeous, and they could easily sneak off to his hotel room. What would you do?”
Tell her of my single friends, wish them luck, skype the wife, sleep, go home and continue loving and having sex with the woman I love. It’s pretty basic common sense.
