This weekend, while we were dyeing Easter eggs and shoving obscene amounts of chocolate into our faces, David Beckham was busy hand-sewing dresses for his 4-year-old daughter Harper’s dolls. Yes, really. See the photographic evidence above if you don’t believe us.
Proud mama, former Spice Girl, and current fashion icon Victoria Beckham posted the heartwarming image to Instagram on Saturday, along with the caption: “Harper has daddy stitching her dollies dresses!!! We love @davidbeckham #lovingdaddy #proudmummy #familyfun [prayer hands emoji] x vb”
And can you blame her for bragging about the father of her four children? I mean, has a more perfect specimen of man ever been created? Now, we don’t mean to objectify him (OK, actually, we’re going to objectify him a little bit here). But even when you strip away his god-like good looks, his oh-so-sexy tattoos, and his impossibly soft voice that makes us want to weep, you’ve got one of the most affectionate and hands-on dads in Hollywood.
A dad who, after retiring as one of the most beloved and revered athletes in recent decades, took the reigns as the full-time stay-at-home parent so his wife could continue expanding her fashion empire. A dad who handles the daily school run, soccer practice, and bath time — and absolutely loves every minute of it.
Victoria Beckham, you are one lucky, lucky woman. (But we’re guessing you already know that.)
