Desperate to appease his rowdy and mostly male fans and appear dominate at Sunday’s debate, Mr. Donald Trump, a sexual predator and accused child rapist, said that if he were in charge of the country’s laws he would jail Mrs. Hillary Clinton for the deceitful act of destroying more than 30,000 emails which had been subpoenaed by Congress.
Mr. Trump’s campaign manager and deflector-in-chief, Ms. Kelly Anne Conway, on Monday morning said the Republican presidential nominee, who allegedly forced himself on a female business partner in the 90s and who believes his stardom grants him to rights to roam freely a woman’s body absent of consent, wasn’t serious about his threat but rather was being witty.
Mr. Trump was serious, however, because Monday afternoon he repeated his threat to a roaring audience.
“Special prosecutor, here we come,” he shouted to his supporters in Ambridge, Pennsylvania.
The belief of Mrs. Clinton’s guilt, despite the Republican FBI Director saying that her actions were extremely careless but not criminal, drives these absurd remarks but it also provides a standard of sorts for how, if elected, Mr. Trump would leverage the federal government to fulfill his vendettas and sooth his outrage.
Most ironic is how Mr. Trump, the law-and-order candidate, appears to only respect his brand of justice. The aforementioned is most concerning to me, beyond Mrs. Clinton, because Mr. Trump also hangs the label of guilty over the head of an exonerated group of black and brown New York City men who in 1989 were wrongly convicted of rape and whose innocence was later proven by DNA.
The news regarding the pseudo-politician’s controversial view on the Central Park 5 emerged last week but was overshadowed by the leaked audio in which Mr. Trump brags to NBC’s Mr. Billy Bush about his lifestyle as a privileged sexual predator. The issue wasn’t even raised during the debate as a contradiction to Mr. Trump’s black outreach, which appears to have died quietly.
Mr. Trump’s long-standing view of the Central Park 5 as guilty is due to their confession, though the men say their confession was coerced. In 2014, the City settled a lawsuit with the group, who claimed malicious prosecution, racial discrimination and emotional distress, for $41 million. The person who actually committed the rape, as proven by DNA, confessed to the crime.
But, because Mr. Trump – who in 1989 took out full pages ads in all four major NYC newspapers advocating for the death penalty as a result of the rape – lives, and would likely govern, in a fact-free environment – Mr. Trump said in a statement to CNN that the Central Park 5 case was settled “with so much evidence against them” but there actually was no evidence against the teens, there weren’t even any witnesses – nothing matters but his juvenile agenda.
If Mr. Trump, an ignoramus who truly doesn’t comprehend how government works, would attempt to jail Mrs. Clinton because he perceives her to be guilty, wouldn’t the exonerated Central Park 5 also be a target of his?
