When we are young, we have dreams of what we’d like to be, do, and have in our lives. We develop an idea of who we’d like to become and how we’d like to live. Some of us are fortunate to have the guidance to be able to turn those dreams into goals and develop a strategy to implement the plan to get there.
Others of us don’t have the wherewithal to know where to start. We may have a vague idea of how to achieve such a goal but we don’t have the resources to implement. Those of us, then, stuff those dreams away to the back of our mind and move on to something more practical or urgent.

When you were younger, what goals or dream did you have that you have since stuffed away? How does this dream tug at you now and then or persistently such that it calls to you to pursue it years, maybe decades later?
Why did you stuff that dream? Was it related to non-conformity of social expectations for you as a man? Was it a matter of practicality, economics, oppression? Other?
Was there a passion of your youth or young adulthood that you have circled back to pursue, where you either found success or determined you no longer desired the old dream?
Tell us your story!
