Happy Father’s Day. Thanks for still considering me as “your little girl”!
Isn’t it wonderful that the world and its ideas are shifting! The world ought to equalize both men and women whether it is at home or in the workplace, as both sexes have something to offer the planet. Your overall determination and will for our family is appreciated and will not be overlooked. Thank you for your relentless work ethic and persistence as it has left an imprint for my brother and me to go forward and succeed in whatever we do.
Coming to the United States wasn’t easy for you and Mom, encountering a newer culture and newer ways of living. Paving your own way to success versus having others pave it for you was a newer concept to grasp and internalize as well as general self-sufficiency versus dependence. As a result, being the man of the house was upon your shoulders and on your mind every night. You’ve succeeded at providing a wonderful home Papa, including having a beautiful basement and outside deck that was made by your two hands! The same entrepreneurial spirit that you had in India is taking us forward in the United States.
I’m sure that at times I wasn’t much help with your daily decision making as the youngest, very pampered, child but you ought to know that I do realize and appreciate all of the sacrifices you have made in sustaining us and our home. You’ve given us everything and you are still the go-to person for technical difficulties. I hope that the goodness you’ve given us will come back onto your life, and that your life will continue to be happy and to flourish!
