What an interesting and important concept: A play about teen pregnancy from the angle of the father.
Playwright-Director Sandra Hodge describes the show like this:
She says, “I’m hoping that not just men, but everybody will realize that every man is not a dead beat dad, and that there are guys who are out there fighting to see their children, and fighting to raise their children. This play highlights and celebrates the men who are working hard to do the right thing. So often the deadbeat dad gets all the press.”
Daddy’s Maybe will premier opening night of Washington DC’s Third Annual DC Black Theater Festival.
Nice! I hope it gets recorded and is available for future viewing.
Sounds great 🙂 Hope it sells out!
