Charlie and Andy from How To Be A Dad posted this video on their Facebook page today with the question, “Is this a good parenting strategy or a bad parenting strategy?”
This brings up the question of what Americans will do for a great YouTube video…

It makes my stomach hurt to watch that video. Can’t imagine a parent finding it entertaining. Creepy, in my opinion. Will the kid find it humorous when he is older? I’m afraid I’d think my parents were deranged if I were to see such a video of myself at that age.
Seriously?! U.S. drones keep turning central Asian women and children into sausage, horrible privations visited on prisoners who haven’t even been charged with a crime and it’s a-okay if the government officials claim they didn’t know it was torture, cops around the country brutally crack down on Occupy protesters for the dangerous crime of loitering, the DEA can lock up and forget about people in the name of “protecting” them from drugs, etc. etc. etc.
Sorry, this doesn’t even register a blip on the outrage-meter.
@Jonathan G; Very curious
“U.S. drones keep turning central Asian women and children into sausage”
Does the US have the technology to specifically target women and children , I wasn’t aware.
OR did you just make the adult male victms of these alleged drones disappear. Every time I see a statement like “Women and children”, it makes me cringe
And just for the record, you spelled it wrong. In modern society it is spelled “Womenandchildren” , it is ONE word NOT 3
I have similar footage of two Tigers licking their chops at my young babies.
Grumble, grumble. Back in my day, we didn’t have no safety class. Kids today have it so easy. Spoiled rotten I say. Oughtta be grateful for how easy their lives are…..
Seriously, though, the kid was not in any danger and wasn’t scared at all. So the problem is….?
should say “safety glass”
My feeling is that this mom is putting a LOT of faith in the engineers of the zoo.
Good point. The building contract probably went to the lowest bidder….
Therefore this would be a great advertisement for whatever company made that glass!
Actually its probably not glass at all. More like an inch of Lexan its a lot stroner than glass.
It reminds me of little kids sitting beside a chain-link fence eatting a hot dog. The junkyard guarddog can smell it and see it but can’t get it.
“My feeling is that this mom is putting a LOT of faith in the engineers of the zoo.”
Oh come on, if that’s the case then don’t go to the zoo at all. If that glass breaks it won’t matter if the kid is on the ground or holding his mom’s hand.
This is terrible parenting. There’s no telling how that vicious child might have harmed an innocent lion.
Great point. Isn’t this animal cruelty? Gotta be an incredibly frustrated lion there.
Oh, wait, it’s even worse than that. If the lion broke through and ate the kid, the lion would be put down, probably shot to death. That’s animal cruelty right there.
nice try…but epic fail at bad parenting. Now if there was no glass in between…a different story all together!
