From Boston.com today came the announcement that Yankee Candle has released “Man Candles” that smell like, er…things that are masculine. Among the scents in this limited edition home fragrance line are:
Riding Mower: “Hot sun. Cool breeze. And the intensely summery scent of freshly cut grass.”
2 x 4: “The warm, unmistakable scent of freshly planed wood and sawdust evokes a sense of confidence and quality.”
And who could forget?:
First Down: “This combination of orange, patchouli, vetiver, and leather is as exciting as game day.”
Are men going to run away in droves from the more “feminine” scents of Daffodil and Plum and rush to burn some Pigskin? Mandles, anyone?
