New York’s Guggenheim Museum released its list of finalists for its Youtube art competition today, and folks…they are truly amazing.
The museum invited people to submit videos ranging from music performances to short films to abstract art to animations, and over 25,000 people took them up on their offer. The 125 finalists will be judged by a panel (which will include director Darren Aronofsky and visual artist Takashi Murakami among others) and twenty will be chosen for the final museum exhibit on October 21.
