The Good Men Project

If You Could Pay a Small Price to Help Create the Media Company You Wanted, Would You?

The Good Men Project, Stephen Sheffield, Artist, media company

Since the inception of The Good Men Project, we’ve invited people in. We don’t have a community section, we have a community. We have a robust conversation that spills out into social media and around the universe that is the wild web. The number of contributors has grown to 1,500. The number of stories here on our site? 15,000.

We don’t pretend to have the answers. We don’t define good. We don’t even define men. And as we grow as a media company (bigger, wider, deeper) we also grow more flexible, not less. We listen to what people want. We ask questions. We have open conference calls that anyone who calls themselves and evangelist can join.

And as much as we are pioneers in starting the conversation around men and goodness, we’re also looking for charter members to help pioneer a premium subscription membership.

You get some extra things right of the bat. One — no banner ads. Simply sign up to pay a small amount ($2 per month, or $20 per year), log in and the ads will be gone. You’ll also get cool extra stuff – invites to exclusive online video chats, a copy of the original Good Men Project Anthology that put us on the map as well as a DVD of the companion film that went along with it. But you’ll also get a voice. Sign up with us, and we’ll listen to what else you want. Whether it’s amazing content on the topic of your choice, or the chance to come to a yearly webinar to help steer the strategic direction of the site as a whole.
