A two-year-old girl was saved after falling from her family’s 5th-floor window by a group of mail carriers in Eastern China.
According to CBS News, five mail carriers in Ninghai, a city in China’s Zhejiang Province, were taking a break in an alley on Thursday, when they heard the cries of 2-year-old Qiqi. The toddler had crawled out of a window in her family’s apartment and was stuck on a ledge 5 stories up.
Surveillance footage shows the men gathering below the child, and rushing to cushion her as she fell to the pavement below.
The toddler had a minor bruise on her face, but was otherwise unhurt. Two of the men sustained injuries, one injured his arm and the other his neck, when they caught her, but all are expected to recover fully.
Qiqi’s parents had left her at home alone sleeping, but say she must have woken up and crawled out the window before they returned.
