One injured passenger is listed as critical.
BREAKING NEWS: The Seastreak ferry, which travels between New Jersey and Pier 11 crashed into a dock in lower Manhattan this morning. CNN reports that At least 50 people were injured, one of whom is in critical condition according to authorities.
Elizabeth Banta, a passenger who was uninjured said,
There was a large jolt. It felt like we were in a car crash … Several people were thrown into the air and onto the ground.
Emergency crews are on hand and have transported several passengers by ambulance to local hospitals. Support boats are also in the vicinity.
