NEWSER: Deep in a Cave, an Amazing Tale of Holocaust Survival

The story of two Jewish families that escaped the Holocaust by hiding in a Ukrainian cave for nearly two years has been made into a movie. Titled “No Place on Earth,” the film opened in New York this last weekend, and will open in other US cities over the next seven weeks. Although a matriarch of the family published a memoir in 1975, only 500 copies were printed, so the film is the first time this amazing story of survival has been made known.
