- Thelma and Louise was a very, very long time ago.
- Jennifer Aniston.
- Michael Lewis is one of the most entertaining writers of our time, but he is loose with the fact in his books making films loosely based on his books fiction.
- Billy Bob still has the blood.
- Good night, Good Luck.
- That wasn’t Billy Beane, that was Brad Pitt with a weird accent.
- George has no kids but is a more convincing father than Brad is with a whole African nation of children.
- Every Brad Pitt film I have ever seen he drinks a glass of water and looks out the window wistfully. What is he looking at?
- The Descendants is a film about being a dad, Money Ball is about a dad obsessed with baseball. God knows we need more films about the real challenges of fatherhood.
- Let’s be honest, George is better looking.
“I’m not a father but I play one on TV” beats out a REAL dad?
Leaving a woman who apparently didn’t want children for a woman who wanted a whole passel of kids makes him “not good”? Because I would dump a man who didn’t want kids for one that embraced a whole passel of them any day. Brad Pitt looks to be a good Dad, while Clooney looks like he’s dating a newer, younger model that could be his daughter this week.
Must be I’m not a Good Woman.
What is it about George that makes him a man? If I was to sit at the dinner table with my five sons and explain to them what manhood means how could I use Clooney as a practical example of goodness, virtue, and purpose? I am not saying this to be crass, only to really understand. I want to be able to put my support behind a media image and support the journey to manhood.
I can’t believe I got some of those references. I really can’t believe I got more than Julie. Oh the shame!! It’s interesting though that Tom is nominating folks for the Good Man Oscar and not one of the ladies. It seems like in these things the guys vote for their favourite woman and vice versa. Kind of wonder what would happen if Maxim did something like a Good Man Oscar. I could see Ron Paul doing well – he always has a bunch of hard core fans. Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart likely popular. Sadly I could see Obama… Read more »
Brad mistreated Jennifer, badly.
Billy Bob is just a really cool dude in my book, a lot cooler than Brad.
The list was intended to be funny…
I have no idea what the Aniston and Billy Bob references were indicating (Aniston wasn’t hot enough? If Brad were a man he’d have beat Billy up to get the blood? Meh,) but the real reason Clooney wins over Pitt in my book is because the man is a better actor. Hands down. Flat out. He’s also got this eternal Hollywood style, old school charm and charisma. I figure (imagining sex out of the picture) one would have a better time out on the town with Clooney. Plus he’s just a better actor. Then again, I’d skip both of them… Read more »
