The Good Men Project

On the Eve of His Return to Earth, Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield sings David Bowie’s Space Oddity.

You’ve been up in space for almost five months. In the International Space Station. Floating in a most peculiar way. So on the eve of your return to earth, what better thing to do than break out your guitar and start singing the old classic “Space Oddity” by David Bowie?

Sing along with him, yes?

This is major Tom to ground control, I’m stepping through the door
And I’m floating in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
Here am I sitting in a tin can far above the world
Planet Earth is blue and there’s nothing I can do

Welcome back Astronaut Hadfield.
