We all have a word that gets stuck in our mouths, that makes us cringe when someone says it… Don’t we? Or is that just me?
Mine is very common, it’s also Modern Family star Ty Burrell’s least favorite word—“moist”. I hate the word “moist” and saying it makes my throat close a bit, like I’m about to throw up. I don’t know why I hate it, but I do.
And it can’t be a word you hate because of the meaning. Everyone hates the words “Nazi” and “genocide”. It has to be unrelated to meaning, hateable only because of the sound or something otherwise inexplicable.
