It occurred to us recently that it’s been a long time—like a decade—since either of us have watched a music video anywhere except YouTube, which is really weird as we’re both from what is now being called “The Mtv Generation“. We remember Michaela Jackson videos, Dire Straits, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, even Nirvana… And they all played on Mtv.
Now Mtv is mostly reality TV and the only way we see videos is if someone sends them to us via YouTube.
How about you? When was the last time you watched a music video? What was it? Where did you see it?

Fuse is good but its not available in all areas. Two good podcasts I like are BlankTV and UVTV, both are also on youtube. As far as discovering new music though I find it is best to use pandora and type in what genre you listen too.
Last I saw (which was quite a while ago), FUSE was going the way of MTV. Glad to hear they stopped backsliding.
When was the last time I saw a music video? Last night, Tuesday, May 29th on FUSE. Check them out. Who the hell needs MTV or Vh1?
YouTube or Vimeo is where I watch my music videos. You can, also, view indie music videos @ividsonline. I work with a production company out of Northern California and we’re always working on something new. Feel free to check out my FB and follow me @Nesgirl914 for new up-and-coming talent! I find content and support and promote new artists. Uploaded yesterday, “The Illness” released a new video shot by Craig Fouts and Jeff McPhee https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Qmh9Otc9mE8. Enjoy!
