Regie Gibson on Fox 25 in Boston

Regie Gibson is one of the contributors to The Good Men Project book. He’s a slam poet who grew up in a beauty salon in Chicago. His hilarious yet insightful essay centers on a Boston event where a panel of men answer questions from a room full of women, asking why men are the way they are.

The 1998 National Poetry Slam champion, Gibson has been published alongside and won the praise of countless award-winning poets and writers. Harvard and Northwestern are just two of the schools on a laundry list of venues at which Gibson has lectured and taught. The film Love Jones was largely based around events in Gibson’s life. He’s also a regular guest on NPR.
