Rick Melvoin is the headmaster at the Belmont Hill School, an all-boys private high school in Belmont, Massachusetts. He grew up in Chicago, graduated from Harvard, and received graduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan. Melvoin, who’s been in education for his whole life, became the head of the school in 1993. He’s been deeply involved with the local community since taking over at Belmont Hill.
