Support Men’s Fiction, Vote for BULL

A couple of months ago, the editors of BULL, a men’s literary magazine, read about the Dockers “Wear the Pants” contest here at GMPM. Now they’re finalists for the $100,000 prize:

Jarrett Haley plans to get his men’s fiction mag off the ground.

Men’s Fiction—Major publishers say men don’t read anymore. We say BULL. As the first and only magazine devoted to Men’s Fiction, our plan is to expand the operation into an independent publishing house producing thoughtful, engaging books that will get men reading again. If you want books made for thinking men, and stories that respect the glory days yet have a mind for the modern age, vote BULL.

The Good Men Project began with the same belief—men want something to read. With our Weekend Fiction feature, we’re committed to running great original fiction by men and women about the male experience. We respect and applaud the guys at BULL for what they’re doing, and yeah, we’d love to see them win this contest. Voting continues on Facebook through Sunday. You can vote once a day. As I write, BULL is in second place in the voting, trailing by 1000 votes. So let’s see if GMPM readers can help them close the gap. Here’s the link:
