Frequent Good Men Project contributor Damon Young and Panama Jackson—the two men behind VerySmartBrothas.com—have teamed up with LA-based Solo Journey Productions to create a TV pilot loosely based on VerySmartBrothas’ hilarious book, Your Degrees Won’t Keep You Warm at Night.
Funded by a month-long Indiegogo campaign that raised $21,000, the 22 minute-long pilot is one of the 47 selections in The New York Television Festival’s Independent Pilot Competition.
