Most civilians who think of soldiers off at war think to themselves, “I can’t even imagine what it would be like.”
And that’s precisely why we want to know.
What is it like? What does it mean to be a man in the 21st century who goes off to war? What does it mean to come back to civilian life? How does it change you? How does it change your definition of being a man? How have you dealt with PTSD? Have you ever been suicidal? What brings you hope? What help do you get.
On or off the battlefield, we want to learn more about life as a veteran, life as a soldier and life as a man.
A quick overview of our general submissions guidelines can be found here. Rolling submissions, please submit to [email protected]
