Not too long ago, we sent out a survey to our entire community, asking what benefits they would most like to see at The Good Men Project in return for a small membership fee.
We were somewhat surprised that the number one answer was to get rid of the ads on the site.
But we believed you. We listened. We acted. We set it up so that if you become a Premium Member, you won’t see any ads. Just $2 a month or $20 a year.
Then we said, “That’s not enough. What else can we give the members the core members of our community, the ones who really want to be here?”
And so…voila. Here is what a Premium Membership to The Good Men Project includes:
1) An ad-free experience. You’ll see no banner, pop-up, or video ads when you log in.
2) Access to invite-only monthly video-chats. The Good Men Project will host exclusive, news-making panels with celebrities, influencers, and our own subject matter experts and columnists to discuss hot or provocative topics in the ongoing global conversation we have sparked about manhood.
3) A coupon good for a copy of The Good Men Project printed anthology to be shipped anywhere in the continental United States. $25 value. (Annual subscriptions only. A $1 shipping/handling charge will apply.)
4) Invitation to join an annual webinar to discuss the evolution of The Good Men Project and help shape its direction.

HELP! I have the premium account and when I’m logged in, the page is full of duplicate articles. So in order for me to read/see all of them, I have to log out and get the ads. It’s not my computer because it happens when I log on other computers.
Well, at least I know, that it’s just not happening to me, but in addition to the scrambled page view, starting last week sometime, when I attempted to sign in I get a 503 error message from WordPress with links to possible tech issues. I went that route, and found nothing really to help. Then I checked as to when I signed up, thinking that possibly, I needed to renew my yearly subscription. It was not the case, because I signed up last year in August. Like you, I just wish someone could suggest some option(s) as what to do.
Very sorry for all the tech problems—we have been updating all of our technology and systems and hope this will be cleared up shortly. We had recently migrated to a larger server system, and hope this will alleviate any problems you have been having. Thanks for your patience.
Why, thanks Lisa, that’s good news!
ive been thinking about it.
if you:
1. add an option for chronological viewing of threads (once a thread goes over 80comments – it is hellish to find the new ones)
2. add a ‘recent comments’ field, as i really wanna know ‘where the action is’ at a glance.
i browse or read all of the articles anyway. so the lack of a recent-comment window, isnt causing me to hunt through the site.
i might think on it alot harder 😉
