Adulting is hard. It’s a long dusty road of plodding along and doing the right thing. Sometimes temptations arise to take a shortcut to our goals, and maybe that shortcut isn’t quite legal or ethical. Has this happened to you, and what did you do about it?
• First, are you a person who takes the straight and narrow or are you person who looks for opportunities to advance despite ethical conflicts?
• If you are a person who works at a steady pace and tries to make the right decisions consistently in your life, have you ever thought of deviating from the path to arrive at your destination quicker? Why or why not?
• if you are a shortcut kind of person, have you always been this way? Do you feel a sense of guilt over making questionable choices sometimes? What keeps you from staying legit?
• Reformed shortcut takers, did you learn the abbreviated and shady way wasn’t for you? Tell us your story of learning a lesson. What do you think other people should NOT do in the wake of what you now know.
• If you keep to the plan, no matter how hard it is, what keeps you going? How have you managed frustrations? Have you reached a significant goal this way?

As you become a deeper part of the conversation (Which really is “The Conversation No One Else is Having), you will learn all of the ways we support our Writer’s Community—community FB groups, weekly conference calls, classes in writing, editing platform building and more.
