The easiest way to have integrity is to place the words “I’m sorry” at the forefront of your vernacular. By definition, possessing integrity is to exist in a state of being morally whole and undivided*. All of the time, not only per convenience and comfort. In instances of vulnerability, insecurity, and fear, integrity is just as necessary as during instances of confidence and stability. Holding oneself accountable to a moral discipline is essential, and in order to be accountable one must be able to recognize when the standards are not met. Strive to say “I’m sorry” to yourself and others.
