When we think of feeling good we think of temporary bursts of endorphins, oxytocin, and pleasure. To maintain the feeling “good” momentum, the pursuit of the things that make us feel good must take priority. Sure, there’s a risk into going into hedonism but to each his own. The quest of maintaining happiness tends to plague society because we have so many things that can give us the instant “hit” of gratification but not the “AH” this feels amazing to my spirit kind of things. The things that make you light up from the inside, whatever that may be is the key to feeling good more consistently. Focusing on the good, cultivating gratitude, and setting your intention are the action steps that hold the process together. Focusing on the good, elevates your vibration that you give out with your spirit. When you focus on the good, you send a message that you want more out of life and you are willing to be expectant for what you deserve. Everyone has their giftings to offer to make this journey of living a more pleasant one. When you set your intention to pursue feeling good, you attract more of all of the things that make you feel good.
When you set your intention and make this practice a lifestyle what you will do is be in alignment or flow. When you are in flow, every bit of life seems magical. Especially the ugly transformative moments. Having a secure sense of yourself—your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual aspects helps with the pursuit. IF you don’t know where to start: start with a hobby and expand yourself. The hobbies/interests keep you focused on the good that life has to offer. With your thoughts, you can create your own reality. If you don’t like where you are right now: take a look at what’s been on your mind. Taking a closer look at your attitude and what’s been brewing mentally can help you shift the lowered state. Misery does love company but if you are wanting something different out of life—be brave and make a habit to do the things that feel good to you. You owe it to yourself to do what sets your soul on fire. Connect with yourself; meditate, discover who you are at your core. You’ll know when you’re on the right track because you will be filled with hope. You will also grow and expand. You will seek more and more moments that take your breath away. When focusing on the good this doesn’t mean that bad things won’t happen to you, they will. Life is both good and bad and everything in between. Take the time to get clear about what you want out of life and life will serve it up.
