A common childhood experience is feeling the repercussions of having a mind of your own and daring to share it with your parent(s) during more heated exchanges.
An unfortunate takeaway from those moments can be that speaking up is dangerous. Not a helpful lesson if your goal is to grow a business or be an effective parent yourself. Being able to confidently speak up and share your message with the world is essential.
