1. Pushing your body to new levels will help you master THE MOST IMPORTANT skill set in this life – overriding your mind’s preference for the comfort of settling.
Committing to a training regimen will require you to workout consistently. And spoiler alert, your brain will not always FEEL like doing that type of work on a regular basis.
Every time you choose to take action, especially when your mind is telling you that you’re too busy, too tired or too overwhelmed, you strengthen your ability to rise above your temporary fear-based, comfort-seeking emotions.
Strengthening this skill will literally help you move forward in every area of life.
2. Creating favorable shifts in your body composition (more muscle, less fat) will optimize your hormonal infrastructure by simultaneously increasing the feel-good and decreasing the stress-out chemicals in your body.
Your hormones directly impact how you feel, and how you feel directly impacts the decisions you make.
So optimizing your hormones helps you show up with clarity, energy, and confidence instead of stress, fatigue and overwhelm.
Level up your hormones, level up your emotional state, level up your choices, level up your life.
3. It’s the ultimate act of Self-Love.
You get one body to experience this life with. How you treat it, what you feed it and the ways you use it will directly contribute to the quality of life you live.
Yes, gluing yourself to the couch, hitting the snooze button, or eating processed carbs may feel more comfortable in the moment, but do not mistake instant gratification with unbreakable self-love.
Like a parent dealing with a kid throwing a temper tantrum, it doesn’t matter how bad the kid wants the candy, and how happy it will make him at the moment…
The parent knows that the ultimate act of love is giving the kid what he really needs in the long-haul.
I’ll end this post by saying evolving your body has less to do with a number on the scale and WAY more to do with strengthening your mind and body.
And if you are trying to level up your life but have no clue where to start, start with your body. It is the foundation you will build on to achieve insane levels of personal and professional success.
