On the heels of Russell Crowe negotiating for the role of Jor-El, we're receiving news about another actor circling the Brandon Routh-free reboot.
Chicago native and seasoned actor Harry Lennix–you probably remember him best as Dresser in Robert Townsend’s classic 1991 urban musical/drama, The Five Heartbeats–is in talks and was reported to have been offered a supporting role in the upcoming Superman movie, Man of Steel.
Seems the Superman: Man of Steel Facebook fanpage got their hands on the production sheet but details are sketchy–no word yet on who Harry’s playing.
Please don't forget Lennix's recent genre turns as Boyd in Dollhouse and as Boris Kodjoe's brother in the taken-too-soon series Undercovers. In any case, we'll keep an eye on this story and report back as soon as we can.
