About Household Stress
Household Stress, LLC is the brainchild of Tony Hawkins. Established in January 2009, the concept was to give men a forum to express themselves to improve communication in the household. We believe that communication and healthy dialogue is the key to a happy home and Household Stresswas designed to improve communication between the husband and wife.
This is great. I shall have to have a listen in soon. There is no right official rite of passage from boyhood to manhood, and hopefully VVe and the world coming world can get some great tips. 🙂
Thank you for those kind words, Vaseem! Please feel free to browse through our many previous episodes and let me know what you think.

If this website was primarily about men talking to men, okay. But how do you improve the communication between husbands and wives if you don’t want to BOTH listen and hear each other out?
And to be honest, I find that women are much more apt to seek out information about men and what they are thinking then men are for women. Hence the reason you can even have a site like this where women infact will tune in. However, if it was the reverse, my guess it’s more unlikely that men would be as interested in tuning in.
Erin, you are 100% correct! Not surprisingly, women (married, single, divorced, dating, engaged, widowed) are actually our #1 supporters! Women are in fact more apt to seek out info about men than men are for women. Our forum gives men the space and freedom to express themselves freely without being ‘attacked’ by the woman in their lives or women in general. Women can then go back and hear what’s really on their man’s mind since we’re basically all the same. But to answer your question, communication is improved on 2 fronts: 1. The husband is able to freely express himself… Read more »
Iben, if a man is currently not the head of their household but wants to be, I would suggest that man to come on our show to learn from other married men that are. Each one, reach one. That is the crux of why we do what we do on a weekly basis. As long as a man acknowledges that he has room for improvement, then he’s already on the right track! We actually have many shows in our archives that address this topic, namely the show entitled: “Is There a Man in the House?”
