The Good Men Project

Good Morning Links

Good Morning! Today is Wednesday, May 25, and overhauling Medicare doesn’t seem to be selling well with voters. Here are some other links of note:

NASCAR’s Kyle Busch was cited for driving 128 mph in a 45 mph zone in rural North Carolina. Hey, we all know how hard it is to turn off the switch. That’s why you always hear about football players tackling people in public places, too.

Oprah Winfrey’s last new show airs today, and here are five things Oprah taught us over the years. Thankfully not mentioned: A description of Oprah’s va-jay-jay.

Lenny Dykstra tried to break Dwight Gooden out of Celebrity Rehab, because Dykstra thought his former Mets teammate had been hypnotized by Dr. Drew and was being held hostage. Just a typical day for Dykstra, who should be given his own reality show before he inevitably goes to prison.

Wikipedia is going to petition the United Nations for recognition as a world heritage site, a designation that would make it as culturally sacred as the pyramids of Giza and the archaeological site of Troy. Frankly I have no use for Giza or Troy, but I use Wikipedia every day. Vote yes, UN!

And now for some sobering perspective: 1,500 people are still missing in Joplin, Missouri, cite of the nation’s most destructive tornado in the last half-century.
