In February, Benoit Denizet-Lewis, our former EIC, is jumping into an RV and shuffling across the country with his dog Casey. Why, you ask, would anyone do such a thing? It’s all for a book.
From the “Travels With Casey” Facebook page:
Beginning in February, I will be traveling around the country in an El Monte RV with my dog, Casey, as I work on my book about dogs in America. I will be updating this page with photographs, videos, and stories from my voyage, which will last through May. Check back often in the coming weeks as I finalize my itinerary. Most importantly, if you have any suggestions for dogs or dog people that I should meet along the way, please do let me know!
If the book is anything like Benoit’s November cover story in The New York Times Magazine (“Can the Bulldog Be Saved?”), it’ll be well worth your time. Head over to the Facebook page to give your suggestions and stay up to date with Benoit’s travels.
Here’s a video of Casey to tide you over:
