On 3/24/2017, House speaker Paul Ryan pulled AHAC, aka Trumpcare from the floor on the President’s orders. They did not have enough GOP votes to pass it so they shelved it.
The President can blame the Democrats, the GOP members of the House who would not, for various reasons, support the vote, or the immigrants. His deflection won’t work. He pushed, bullied, and threatened to no avail. In short, the President lost, vote or not, his tactics fell far short of a victory.
A victory he needed to deflect and dismiss the growing data pointing to both him and his advisors as traitors for receiving Russian favors and money during his campaign and allowing the intrusion of Russian hackers to influence the election in his favor.
No more lies. No more fake anything. The American people and demand the truth.

A victory he needed to strong arm Neil Gorsuch on to the Supreme Court. He counted on the many victory speeches, parties, and tweet streams to hide the fact that Gorsuch cares not a whit for the people, and throws his opinions in favor of the powerful.
A victory he needed to reinforce his “my way or the highway” attitude. Instead, his belief in overblown self-importance has backfired. He now knows he does not own the Congress, that all GOP members will not fall in for any legislation he supports, that this country’s grassroots, Americans who care about this country, it’s clean air, clean water, and pristine land, are not about to give it all up because the President says so.
The fight is not over. Trumpcare will be back, of that I have not doubt. However, without the President’s preening over his unchallenged power, we can get down to the business of clearing our government of fascists and traitors with clear ties to the Russian government. Our biggest fight will be to get the government to accept safe mode, appoint a special prosecutor with no ties to the White House or Russia, and stop all new bills, legislation, and executive orders until we know our government is clean.
“Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA), an ardent and outspoken opponent of President Donald Trump’s actions, has issued a statement calling on the House and the Senate to cease action on all Trump administration items until the FBI has completed its investigation into Donald Trump, his administration and transition teams, and any possible collusion with Russia. That would include the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch tot he Supreme Court, and the health care bill, among many others.”
In the wake of the AHCA, the President will be actively looking for the win he so desperately needs to validate his authority and prove to the world and his puppet-masters that he is the man for the job. To prevent that, the American people, the grassroots resisters, must again come together and insist all non-essential government activity cease until the Russian and other foreign influences are removed from our White House, Congress, and government.
No more lies. No more fake anything. The American people and demand the truth.

Rather then gloating, as MANY of the Dems are doing, what have they presented/brought to the table to rectify the downward spiral of the ACA program(s). What the Dems should be doing is looking for the “win” and this was clearly not a “win” for them either. Have they at all listened to the public this last election or are they still stuck on their ego’s to the point that they can’t see that they NEED to do something other then battle Trump at every turn? I know Dems who voted Hillary who are now looking at leaving their party… Read more »
Exactly, Tom. Celebrating a loss, but so wrapped in partisan politics that they can’t even see it. We, the people, just lost. Big time, and they are celebrating, even gloating.
WTF?
still working on it, still trying to bring them together, and he stated that the plan will be in need of alteration. i don’t see this as a defeat. I see it as a move in the right direction. If we can’t get a majority, the thing to do is pull it and try again. What we need to understand is that Obama care is dead. it failed and American’s are suffering because of it, and it’s not about “legacy” but us. What we don’t need is a bunch of babies playing the partisan game (on either side of the… Read more »
Thank you for sharing your perspective.
Don’t get me wrong on this, Carol. I’m commenting on the democrats, but there is no partisanship here. Trump is not off the hook with the American people either. Trump identified that Obama-car is failing. Fine. I see evidence myself, and I trust that as a business man and the president of the United States that he can accurately project that. We, however, did not hire him to be a health care monitor. We hired him, and he promised to fix it. Now if the republican bill did not fly, go back to the drawing board, gather input, re-design and… Read more »
