Now if you will excuse me, I need to go get jacked up on Amp.
J.R.
Today at 1 PM Pacific, I will once again turn on a microphone in a radio studio and say, “What is up Long Beach???” I don’t know how many times I’ve said those words, but they never get old. Especially when I say them on the radio.
My co-host, Wes The Sports Guy, and I want to thank college station KLBC for giving us air time to do our live radio demo. We’re doing this in hopes of landing another full-time radio gig and we will have program directors and various people listening live. Once the show is done, we will cut it up and put together a (hopefully) quality demo to share with the world.
I think we have some quality stuff to discuss today and I would like to invite you to listen in and to call if you want to. I only ask that if you do, please keep it within the boundaries of good taste. More or less.
You can catch the link at our website, www.wesandjr.com. I apologize for the site looking a bit ragged. I need to clean it up a bit and will put that on my to-do list. In the meantime, check it out and please join us for some entertainment. Wes and I pride ourselves on informing and entertaining on a daily basis.
We have two great guests for you, Josh Brewster of Hockeytalk.biz and Duck Calls will talk some puck as well as play a game of True/False and Lisa Kerner Kelly, A.K.A. Bridget McGuire will discuss college football.
Today’s topics include:
The Cubs still suck
Is there a bigger douche in college football right now than Jim Tressel?
Georgia outside linebacker Ray Drew sprained his shoulder in a scooter accident and is day to day.
Trent Edwards couldn’t cut it with the Bills, so why the H would the Raiders want him?
Fantasy Football trash talk
Tweet of the Week
And a whole lot more.
Please get the word out about this and feel free to call in at 562-938-4800. I’ve been told there is only one working phone line in the studio, so please be patient if its busy. We could really use your support! Now if you will excuse me, I need to go get jacked up on Amp. Amp Energy Drink is how I start my show and is likely the cause for me being way too wired on air. But it does make for a whole lot of fun.
congrats bro!
I tried to listen to it at work, but my computer wouldn’t cooperate. I hope it went well!
