I remember learning about sex for the first time from my best friend on the playground. She told me about a seed and an egg and something about a boner that I didn’t understand for many years. Sex education at my school meant learning about my menstrual period and nothing about sex, the act. Now, this was in the 80s so I assume that sex education (and parenting) has gotten better with regards to this, but I wonder how much?

We want to hear your point of view:
How did you learn about sex? Your parent(s)? Porn? A friend or cousin? Your school system?
Do boys talk about the logistics of sex with each other? Why or why not?
Has the method by which you learned about sex had an impact on how you view the act today?
What was the same or different from your understanding of sex as opposed to the actual act?
Do you have an interesting story about your first time? Funny stories of misconceptions you had about sex?
Were your expectations about sex all they were cracked up to be?
Has porn had an impact on how you perceive sex? Has it negatively impacted your confidence in the bedroom? Your expectations?
