A Decision is Made this Week on ‘Downward Dog’ Boundaries

See a different side of Martin on ‘Downward Dog’ Boundaries

Dogs have been a part of Hollywood for many years now. There was Lassie, Air Bud and many others. Yet there has never been a show like Downward Dog on TV. It follows Martin and the things he deals with each day. The second episode ‘Boundaries’ shows a new side of this character. I was able to watch a screener of it and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the premise for ‘Boundaries’ here:

When Nan installs an automatic dog door so she can take away Jason’s key but still keep him as Martin’s dog walker, Martin is convinced he can suddenly open doors with his mind, and the new-found power goes to his head. Meanwhile at work, Nan’s boss is unable to understand the new ad campaign Nan sold to the corporate bosses, and he spirals into confusion.

‘Boundaries’ is a pretty good Downward Dog episode. It takes the time to explore some characters further, and moves the narrative forward a bit too. It has some good comedy from Martin, and strong drama from Nan. Once the episode is over, things have changed in some ways, and it is hard to say if they are for the better or not. If you like dogs then this is a show you may want to check out. If you want to learn more about Downward Dog click on this website.

‘Boundaries’ airs Tuesday at 8/7 c on ABC. You can follow this show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
