One gay person. One anti-gay person. One hug.
After the phenomenon of “Two Strangers Kiss”, there were numerous other “Two Strangers” videos, some funny, some serious.
The creators of The Gay Women Channel decided they wanted to do one, but with a twist.
They paired a somewhat nervous, anti-gay person with a gay person and asked them to hug.
The small talk is uncomfortable. It’s strange and awkward and you kind of want to look away. Sarah Rotella, one of the producers, said, “The video includes some actors but the dialogue is all unscripted.”
But when they finally get around to it, it’s ok. It’s just hugs.
And some really good hugs, too.
