“She’s my princess and I’m her William. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
This is the love story of Bill and Glad.
They first met when they were kids, and Bill quickly became best friends with Glad’s brother. Bill describes the moment he knew he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life:
I was seventeen, she was sixteen, I saw her all dolled up, dressed up, and she had an A-line dress on and BOOM then it was gone. She was the one for me then, absolutely.
As you’ll see in the video, love is a living, breathing thing that is shown through the persistence, consideration, and expression of care in everyday life, not just in grand gestures like a dozen roses and a box of chocolates. Love didn’t stop when he saw her in that dress. It didn’t stop when they got married. It didn’t stop when Glad was diagnosed. It didn’t stop when Bill needed to take care of her. It continues.
This is true, real, deep love.
