While it’s a little bit silly and sarcastic in origin, this is a good reminder that you can do whatever you like. You shouldn’t let people kill your dreams or intimdate you out of following what you deeply want to do in life.
Conversely, there’s a lot of pressure for people to do things when sometimes all we want is a quiet life with those we love. That’s okay too!
The point: It’s okay to do stuff if you want. If you don’t want, that’s okay too. Just do what makes you happy.
As Franz Kafka said:
Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.
