If you’re not impressed with Jimmy Fallon already, this one is going to make you a fan. I think the real key to Fallon’s success, what makes people love him, is his willingness to look a little silly. If you think of other night time hosts, they are always polished, always the kings of their domain, the alpha dog.
Fallon doesn’t give off that vibe at all. He’s a huge fan of so many of his guests, and you can tell. He’s excited to sing with Billy Joel, and he knows his voice isn’t as good as Billy Joel’s (obviously) but that doesn’t stop him from taking the risk. And it’s almost always a huge payoff.
Anyway, apparently there’s an iPad app that loops voices so well you sound like a whole doo-wop supergroup. Though, no matter how good you are, you’ll probably never top this one, which is pretty epic.
