I don’t trust Trump.
Many people don’t trust him for many of the same reasons that you have heard from liberal media.
I have my own reasons why I don’t trust him. Firstly, I don’t trust Trump because he cares about his ego more than the citizens of the United States.
The Misleading Unemployment Rate
Prior to his election, he stated that the BLS unemployment rate was a lie. He claimed that the U.S. economy was much worse and he would do a much better job if he was the President.
Well, guess what? Now, he has embraced the BLS unemployment rate and claims that he is the reason why the national unemployment rate is at a record low. At this point, I hope you are starting to understand why I don’t trust Trump.
Initially, he was right about the misleading BLS unemployment rate. The U.S. economy is much worse than that statistical depiction.
Do you believe that the national unemployment rate is under 4%? Perhaps, I need to explain how the BLS determines an unemployed person.
The BLS Method of Defining Unemployment
In a recent LA Times article, it states that
The Labor Department classifies people as unemployed if they do not have a job, are available to work and have actively looked for a job in the previous four weeks.
The last metric in their criteria is what misrepresents the actual, national unemployment rate.
“People who have actively looked for a job in the previous four weeks.”
Can we agree that many people would become discouraged to look for work if they have not been hired in 8 weeks?
Can we agree that many people would be very discouraged to look for work if they have not been hired in 12 weeks?
There is also the challenge of people deciding whether to settle for jobs that pay significantly lower than the minimum salary of their profession.

Instead of trusting Trump to bring more jobs back to America, why not take control of your financial future? The economy may be a mess in your region, but you don’t have to be a victim.
