A Man Without a Plan: 8,000 km Motorbiking Across the Balkans

“What I remember most: The overwhelming sense of freedom.”

Jacob Laukaitis “bought a motorbike older than he was” and set out to discover the Balkans. Not to be the first to discover them, of course, but to enjoy the type of self-discovery that comes with journeys to new lands, new people, new experiences.

We asked Jacob what he remembered most about his journey. This is what he said: “I remember the overwhelming sense of freedom I felt driving my motorbike across countless towns, mountains, forests, cities and countries. I knew I could go absolutely anywhere I wanted, anytime I wanted.”

Enjoy Jacob’s trip, distilled down to a nifty two minute video.
