Lee Beck had seen videos of other people celebrating their birthdays by doing random acts of kindness for others. He suggested the idea to his daughter Amélie. After brainstorming a long list of ideas, they narrowed it down to 39 acts — 32 acts for Lee’s 32nd birthday and 7 acts for Amélie’s 7th birthday.
