Op-Ed: Taco Bell’s New ‘Live Más’ Campaign is Racist and Demeaning

I rarely use the word “hate” but it describes how I feel about these new Taco Bell commercials—ironic, entitled white people mocking their caricaturized, co-opted version of something vaguely Mexican/Latino, with a soundtrack underneath of poorly pronounced Spanish (that began with a ridiculing anti-homage to B.I.G.). It isn’t funny—just demeaning and racist. The epitome of a corporation getting it all wrong.
