Did You Fall for Glee’s Boob Ploy?

After three and a half hours of sweaty men tackling each other for a chance at glory, Fox’s hit program Glee tried to retain the man-mentum with some smoking boob action—literally.

We put stuff in there understanding that there are a lot of dudes who watch the Super Bowl … It was making sure that the dudes who refuse to watch Glee are like ‘Wait a second!’

The episode started strong, opening up with cheerleaders in Katy Perry fire cones and continued with a football-centric plot to harmonize a disjointed football team—literally and figuratively—to win the championship game. It had all the elements for the male sports fan: fist fights, pretty girls, and a motivating halftime locker room speech that ultimately led the team to victory.

But was it enough? Or did the show’s vocal adrenaline, kitschy costumes, and fancy footwork fumble its way to defeat?
