Arby’s at 10, 10:30 No. 2

Ah the color, suitable for a ride in Batman’s Batmobile in Gotham City at night, tracking down the Riddler. I took this photograph last night around 10, 10:30 too. The light, not the chance to comment on Arby’s House of Beef Cow Meat, got my attention. I like the colors and didn’t edit the picture much, tried to bring out the blue. Arby’s is up there on the west side of Rockville Pike in Rockville Maryland USA July 9 2012.

Tim Ruane is an artist and writer. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he studied English and art, and has worked as a chief copy editor in the editorial department of The Washington Post, where he has also worked as a freelance photographer. He has written hundreds of poems, two novels a number of short stories. His photographs have been published by The Washington Post, Simon & Schuster and The Good Men Project. He has shown his photographs at Potomac MD Public Library and is scheduled to be published in ShareArt LA, Circumfleks Magazine and Splinter Literary Journal.
